I'm 22 years old, around 185 pounds, six feet tall, very little muscle. Not fat, but far from thin or in shape.
I'm not really financially in a position to join a gym or pick up any proper exercise equipment so I'm working on basically doing as much as I can in my evenings at home.
I'm currently doing:
4 x 25 situps per day
4 x 10 pushups per day
4 x 100 step/jumps, just on and off the bottom step of my stairs, per day
I've also taken up the drums, and am making sure I do at least a half hour a day on there too, which I'm guessing is a pretty great cardio workout as I always come away from the kit with sore muscles and a heavy heart rate, not to mention the increased coordination and sore eardrums
I'm just wondering whether this is realistic enough amount of daily exercise to begin losing some weight and working up a little more muscle tone?
I'm considering buying a rowing machine, but I don't really have the money.
Any advice appreciated! Thanks
