Is this do able?

Training everyday and have good diet. I have the next 2 months off and will be working out everyday is it possible to get quite well defined sixpack and arms within that time ?

At the moment i do alot of cadiovasular work but moving on to toning i have medium build but and quite fit but just dont have toned muscles.

Is it realistic to get defined muscles and sixpack within this time or would a longer time scale be more suitable or does it depend on the persons fitness?

Thanks in advance

Mark

you could make good progress in 2 months but it depends on what body you start off with. you shouldnt be working out everyday that will lead to overtraining (burn out), try and get 2 days rest a week and make sure you give each muscle at least 48 hours rest before working that same muscle again.

HI Mark,

What you are after is definition. This is made up of 2 things

1) Having the muscle there in the first place and ;
2) Having a good body fat % range (10%).

As the bloke above said, you should not and could possibly not train every day and expect to see results.

It also largely depends on genetics. I know one guy who does f' all working out but has the biggest chest i have really ever seen on a standard person.

I have also found that if you start to put timeframes on things, you can also devotimate yourself which in turn lowers your performance and speed of fruitition.

My best advice is to setup a good bulk program, find a good body weight you can aim for and during bulking, keep your body fat as far down as possible (without loosing any ofcorse, try keep it the same or no more than 3% above your current). This means a bloody good diet!

Once you reach your body weight goal, then get into cutting. Cutting will drop the body fat off and show all your hard work during that bulking stage i typed prior. If you are not satisfied with what you have after cutting, then start over again. Setup a goal body weight, bulk and cut.

As for the 2 months. Do what you can, for all you know you might have a freak body which responds really quickly. But just dont overtrain yourself as you will damage any work that you do put in and this will usually happen after about 4 weeks which in turn you would have lost 1 of your months.

Steve.
