Is this a good weight bench?

Hey,

I was looking at weight benches at mc sports and this one seems to be a great bench. The only thing i dont like is the small bump on the pad, because i thought it might hurt my lower back when doing bench presses. what do you guys think? Also does this bench look sturdy for 200 lb. presses? thanks!:)

You'll need to purchase a bar and plates.. Might wanna check how much those run locally before you commit.

1. They are isolation exercises and for both fat loss and muscle building, you want to recruit as many muscles as possible. For fat loss, this raises the metabolism higher. For muscle gain, it helps the body to produce more natural growth hormone and testosterone.
2. Leg extensions put a tremendous strain on the medial and lateral tendons of the knee. A tear in one of these could cause a lifetime of disability.

i dont think it would because on my bench(no bump when it is flat), my back never touches the bench... if anything it will probably help your lower back by giving it support

The bump on the bench is to give lower back support and to stop you from arcing. It will definitely help you, especially if you have back problems. And if you do have back problems you should be training your core alot more often!

I would also suggest getting a stability ball instead or along with a bench. There are so many exercises that you can do for so many body parts including incline chest presses.

Good luck!

Ben
