Is it possible to burn fat and gain muscle at the same time ?

idk if this is in the wrong section, and move me if im wrong . But can someone clarify if you can burn fat and build muscle at the same time ? Ive been on this diet where i have a calories deficit 5-6 days of the week and a calories increase 1-2 days of the week. I am performing cardio 5-6 days of the week, and weight training 3-4 days. I have been on this routine for a week, and so far now adjustment in weight, but it seems like im getting stronger . someone please give me advice !

It is very possible to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. Even though you are on a calorie deficit, there is still going to be muscle damage and repair, that eventually, albeit often on a very minute level, leads to muscle growth. While it is noted that muscle growth tends to be quite slow while you're losing weight, even a little bit counts.

However, what you're likely experiencing is an increase muscle recruitment. For people who don't use their muscles to a large degree on a normal basis, they lack the ability to neurologically activate all their muscle fibers. As you train, your ability to recruit more muscle fibers increases, resulting in a strength gain. It's not until after you've attained 100% recruitment (usually about 2-3 months of regular training) that you'll start to see significant muscle growth.
