Is it okay to keep exercising after bulking?

I was just wondering, is it okay to do some other exercising such as basketball, punching bag, table tennis, ect. after the actual bulking weight training session?

How much would be adequate?

Right now I'm eating about 1,600~. But starting today, I'm going to 2,500~ for bulking.

depends how much cals u burn a day i suppose. you should get enough protein too to make sure u get some muscle, i think.

Multiply your body weight by 13 to get a rough estimate of your caloric needs. Add at least 500 in order to add some weight. This is a rouch estimate. You can use a metabolic calculator to get a more exact number.

And did you just compare table tennis to getting a similar workout as basketball?

You can do everything but table tennis, that's bad for your knees. :D Just make sure after you lift you get your proper nutrition, protein shake or high protein meal of some sort. Then you could go do whatever you wanted.. Going from 1600 to 2500 is quite a jump, I hope your stomach can handle it. Anyways, if 2500 doesn't help you gain, it's quite common to have to go to 3000. But don't just jump right up, increase over time so your body has time to adjust.

Typically for bulking you eat 500-1,000 calories above your specific maintenance level.
I would caution to eat clean if you go with the 1,000 extra calories option. A 1,000 extra cals from McDonald's isn't a good bulking scheme ;)
