Is it OK to jog 3 miles & work leg muscles next day?

I ran 3 miles yesterday and today I went to the gym and worked out my legs and thats when I started thinking if I was overtraining my leg muscles. Is this okay or am I overtrainig?
 
You can do that occasionally, but I wouldn't do it every time. You are much better off giving any muscle at least 24 hours rest after working out with weights; less so with running.
 
If i were you I would schedule it so that you work out your legs, and then maybe do some running right after the workout. If you wait any longer i.e the next day, they your legs will be burnt hehe i dunno about you but I cant walk for a few after leg workouts.
