Is it a good idea do be active on a day that one performs HIIT?

Well, how fit are you?

How many years have you've been playing soccer?

What type of HIIT are we talking here?

Do you really need to extra training?
 
I did HIIT 4 hours before softball practice, and it wasnt too good. I shouldnt be slowing down in anaerobic drills. On a non-practice day would be good for HIIT.
 
I guess that depends

On your condition and the level of intensity of the HIIT. Overall, it's not a good idea because you'll strain your muscles and your performance on the feild will lag. If you really want to do HIIT and then another sports activity, you're gonna need to take some supplements life caffein.
