I LOVE eating honey. I crave it so much.
I have started my diet 3 days ago. And I want to cut all forms of sugar, chocolates, sweetners ( natural or artificial ) etc.

But I heard that honey is somehow different than regular sugar. So can I eat it on a daily basis ?

Also, what about dark chocolate ( with no sugars ) are they a good choice ? Or should be avoided at all ?

oh, i so much understand u. i can't help eating sweets. well, i'm not a lover of honey, but adore chocolate, and i eat it once per 2-3 days. i buy one 70% chocolate bar, and eat max 4 pieces a time.
as for honey, by the way, i've read that manuka honey is healthier. i'm gonna buy it, cause i can't eat sweets so rarely as im doing now, and i think honey'll be better than chocolate.<spam removed>

I take honey in my tea which I have a couple times a week, I use raw orange blossom honey that is a local variety as I am in Florida. It has not been a problem for me in my weight loss journey. I also like a little bit on my oatbread toast which I have from time to time. I do know that honey has medicinal properties, it kills bacteria, has anti-inflammatory properties, and is an anti-oxident.

as per other claims about honey in this thread, please provide a link to the peer reviewed studies to support your claims.
