Hello,
I have been reading through the posts and read about the back problems people face. I know I am certainly one of them. About 7 years ago, I injured my back. Had an MRI and Dr. confirmed that I had a crushed disc in my L5 region of my spine. To this day I still have problems but not as bad thanks to investigating into inversion therapy for my back. Best thing I ever did was buy an inversion table with gravity boots. Now when my back is acting up, I hook right up to my inversion table and tilt back just enough to get the pressure off my lower back and takes the pain away!
<P>
The other thing is that I couldn't perform situps do to my injury. I knew I needed to strengthen my abs to help support my lower back. With the F5000 inversion table, it locks into place so I can hang upside down and perform situps without any pain or discomfort in my lower back! I could finally perform situps again!
<P>
The beauty of this table is you can adjust a strap to control how far you want to invert. Everyone is not going to want to hang all the way upside down or they can't due to the injury. Think of laying on your bed for a moment. Now think of putting 2 -3 inch blocks at the foot of your bed to raise it up. Even with this amount of inverting can tremedously take pressure off your discs.
<P>
So How can Inversion help you to relieve your back pain? Quite simply, inversion therapy puts gravity to work for you by placing your body in line with the downward force of gravity. Inversion elongates the spine, increasing the space between the vertebrae, which relieves the pressure on discs, ligaments and nerve roots. Less pressure means less back pain.
<p>
I am not cured by this machine, but does offer me temendous relief when my back acts up. I HIGHLY SUGGEST TALKING WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE USING THIS EQUIPMENT. As there are many precautions before hanging upside down. Copy and paste the link below into your browser. Tells about the precautions and benefits of inverting. I purchased the F5000 model Teeter hang ups inversion table. Like I said earlier, to me it is worth every dime.
<p>
Best of health to everyone - Jim
P.S. have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
