Introductions with a side of tangents

Hey, my name is Eric and I recently stumbled upon this forum!

What I do currently:

I attend California Institute of the Arts as a double major in classical bassoon performance and music technology. Tis a busy life but I enjoy the work and the outcome will be worth it in the end.

Why am I here? (Because I'm here roll the bones....<= music nerd, it is what I do)

I actually just happen to fall across this forum and it had an amazing amount of information so I decided to start checking it out. Through my life I have studied various forms of martial arts which include:

Kajukenbo Tum Pai Gung Fu
Tai Chi
Traditional Muay Thai Kickboxing
Savate French Kickboxing
Jeet Kune Do

But being then young and having the attention span of a gold fish to broke college student, I have had to stop various of times. Which for me I feel like I haven't accomplished much in the art of combat but that is me being personal.

Anyways, from my martial arts training and my little dabble in parkour made me realize that I have gotten out of touch with fitness in the sense of a continual routine based idea. I guess you could say I've lost the discipline? I don't know, I feel that is the wrong word but it is the only way to describe it. As my schedule gets busier and busier with pursuing a double major, my older workouts take too much time so finding alternative and even quicker exercises for during the week and then focus on bigger workouts on my more relaxed days is the goal.

Now that I realize how random and rant-y this post is, in short, I am just looking for more information on eating healthy, exercising tips(both for lean-muscle training and bulking up), and just anything in general. I love to discuss philosophy and to learn so hit me up.

See you around
