Hello all. My name is Brittany. I am 24 years old, 5'5, and 250lbs. My goal weight is around 130-150 as I have a medium frame. I have had issues losing weight as I was diagnosed with PCOS-Polycystic Ovarian Disease/Syndrome. It affects almost all aspects of someone with it. One aspect being weight.. I also have Crohn's Disease. therefore, I need to lose weight for multiple reasons. Neither disease is a result of being overweight, but reducing weight helps with symptoms from both.

I'm open to hearing any and all suggestions, recommendations, and comments from anyone will to give any. I don't have a diet or exercise plan made yet. But I do plan on stopping soda tomorrow, or at least trying to reduce it to start(I'm a Pepsi addict lol)

I think I will start putting pictures up on a 3 week interval.

Hope to hear from everyone soon!

hey. cutting out all forms of liquids except water can drastically reduce your caloric intake. If you still crave the sweet drinks, try spiking your water with a bit (and I mean only a bit) of juice crystals.

Do you do any form of exercise right now? Start by going for walks at lunch, if time permits. Or after work. Help wind down the day.

AI stopped drinking soda 1 week ago today. For the most part I'm only drinking water. If I go out to eat i might have tea or something but I've been trying to stick water. I haven't weighed myself yet to see if I've lost any. I will do that tonight or in the morning (usually do first thing in the AM weigh ins). I would do walks ar lunch but I live in Florida. Right now with it being summer, I was would probably need a shower and change of clothes due to it being so hot! However, my boyfriend and I do plan on taking afternoon walks. I'm trying to make healthier choices in situations .

sounds like an excellent start. Doing weigh-ins first thing in the morning (before breakfast) is the best time and will be the most consistant
