Hello, Im Victor I decided to loose some weight a month ago. 115 kilos - 254 pounds, height 5feet 10 inches.

Before I tried to do any measure of losing some unwanted pounds I first consulted my physician then he instructed my dietician to plan my diet.

Then my dietician gave me a 1600kcal - 1200 kcal diet a day... however i did not follow the said instruction, what i did for the first 15 days was to only take not more than 600kcal a day (with the exception on birthdays' 1200kcal max) diet started febuary 06, 09

The first four days of my diet was tough, I even thought of giving up, however when i weighed in my weight was reduced to 113kilos then the following day it was reduced to 111kilos then 110kilos the next following day
without doing any workout or exercise.

then i bought a pedometer (feb 27, 09)and started walking fast then i lost some more weight........ im currently at 105 kilos, how ever i could no longer maintain my usual diet of less than 600kcal, im exceeding over 1000kcal however even though im exceeding 1000kcal after my breakfast i walk for atleast 2hours then 1hour, then another two hours after dinner ( before i walk i usually rest for an hour to calm my stomch down, i also only have 2 meals a day) and worst of all im always getting dizzy or some kind of nausia...

total workout a day 4 hours of walking divided( the 4 hour walk started 2 days ago before i only walk for one hour a day that started 5 days ago) in the morning and evening then upper body workout equivalent to 15 repetion of 3 counts of weight lifting three times a day plus five mintues ab crunches nonstop.

I'd strongly suggest you reading the stickied threads around this forum and get yourself onto a healthier plan that you can stick with for the rest of your life...

Dizzy and nausea should be a warning sign that something's wrong and you need to reevaluate your plan...

Welcome to the site and much luck

well, i forgot to say that the nausia and dizzyness started when i strated walking for 4hours a day... kinda weird cause when im eating less than 600kcal i never got dizzy or nausia...?

Well, just think about that for a second. The dizziness and nausea started after you started walking 4 hours a day. Hmmn. I'd say walking 4 hours a day is using more energy and calories, than not walking, wouldn't you? Your body doesn't have enough energy for the exercise you're trying to do = not feeling well.

Do your body a favor and start eating more.

Edit: Sorry for being a smart ass but it's really not that hard to figure out!

Yeah, your calorie count is really really low hunny. You need to follow what your dietician said, because that's the count that's going to allow you to safely lose weight without hurting your body. You might think that by lowering your calorie intake, you're going to speed up your weight loss, but that's not really true. When you eat too few calories, your body is essentially starving. A starving body will cling to fat storage (because it doesn't know when it's next full meal is coming and needs the fat for reserves), and burns muscle instead.

Every day, your body needs a certain amount of calories just to get you through your normal day to day activities. If you're exercising, it needs even more than that. I'll be honest, I think you're way overdoing the exercise. You only really need 30-60 minutes of cardio, not 4 hours of walking! Nausea and dizziness are a sign that your body isn't getting the calories it needs and therefore can't function properly. Don't harm yourself any further, get onto what the dietician recommended for calories and reduce your workout time, but up the tempo!

Also, I don't know what your meals are like, but if you eat smaller portions for breakfast lunch and dinner, then throw in 3 daily snacks, it will help your metabolism increase, which will burn stored fat more quickly. That will stop your body from thinking it's starving and encourage it to burn fat instead of muscle!

i got over the nausia thing and i think my body is adopting to the new lifestyle... currently at 103k target 90 kilo or 80 kilo maximum. a month ago feb 6, 2009 im at 115 kilos, last march 3rd, 2009 im at 106 kilos, take note i did not take any diet pill though my physician advice me to take some vitamins like centrum and ascorbic acid... by the way the nausia was caused by the lack of sugar so he recomended me to eat atleast one stick candy per day (currently eating tamarind candy).
