intolerances to yeast

well have recently become intolerant to yeast and am unable to eat bread :( Am managing ok but the problem is when im in need of a snack to fill me up. i use to have wholemeal toast x 2 with honey or soya marg but now i cant and unfortunatly crisps are becoming more attractive when the carbs call. (thats chips to my american friends :) )
any ideas what i can have?? i eat a lot of rice cakes but want something different!
:)

Go to your local health food store. I guarantee they will have a wide selection of rice breads, rice noodles (even some that are like regular pasta), and even rice crackers that are unleavened.

Other ideas? Matzo bread or Ezekial 4:9 products.

I'd also work for snacking on starchy vegetables like potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, etc. These give you tons of nutrients (more than that toast would give you anyway), keep you full, and give you the carbs you need. Otherwise, I'd go for fruit. If you find some you like, this will be a great, great snack (I personally prefer berries, grapes, pears, and kiwi fruit).
