Injury question

Hey everyone,

I just hurt my lower back bad....again. I've been in therapy the past month, but I feel it pulled out again yesterday! I can't come anywhere near halfway down when I bend, it kills me.

The weird thing is it's perfectly fine when I walk and run! I ran 2 miles light this morning instead of my usual HIIT, just to see how it would be....felt nothing!

What should I do about the weight room? Cut out squats/deadlifts/rows and just go chest/arms/shoulders?

Any advice would help!
Thanks a lot,
acg

have you been to a doctor? when did the injury occur, what were you doing when you injured yourself? if its just a pulled back muscle it will heal, ive had it. I was doing some stretches and i pulled my lower back, couldnt even put on my own shoes, but it did heal.

Yes, I hurt it once in June, which is when I went to the chiropractor. I've been going 3 times a week for therapy since then, but yesterday I was helping my father bring a big-screen TV downstairs, and mid-way I felt it go out.

It's also lower back, and I can't bend over or sit down without very sharp pain in the lumbar area. However, as I said I can run and walk without any problems at all.

I'm going in at 3:00 for an emergency visit to the chiro. Should I still go upper body in the gym tomorrow?

see a doctor. chiropracters are NOT doctors ok?

i've seen enough info on chiropracters to put them somewhere being "somewhat helpful" and "scam artist" regarding claims they make.

lay off the workouts til you see a REAL DOCTOR
