I took Monday, Tues, Weds. off.. the scale is going in the right direction, YAY!
Now, yesterday after clinical the outside of my left foot started hurting. I can't remember doing anything out of the ordinary, or abnormal sudden pain at all, but it really progressed into fairly significant pain, and when I walked around the house would spread up into the side of my calf. Today I was planning on working out, figured I'd go to the gym and see how I felt. So I went, walked on the treadmill at 4.0 for 15 minutes- it hurt, but I thought maybe increasing the bloodflow would help and like sorness dissipate after a nice warm up. I decided to try jogging at 5.0. Everything felt great, I felt stronger today than ever, not out of breat, muscles feeling good etc.. except for my foot. It really hurt, and I could tell I was landing on the inside of my foot to try and compensate, so I stopped after 5 minutes. Like you always hear, there is a difference between soreness and pain- this was PAIN. So after some research the area of my pain is exactly the area of the peroneus ligament... dead on. I think its probably tendonitis of that area.
So now what? I know I need to rest it, (RICE) but for how long? What else can I do for exercise in the mean time?
