OK, so a year ago I realized I was kind of chubby, and I decided to lose weight. I didn't have much time for the gym so I thought I would just lose it by dieting alone. I now realize what a mistake that was and I am left with practically no muscle. I am very thin, but, because I lost so much muscle rather than fat, I still have a decent amount of fat on my stomach and chest.
So, I am now trying to put on muscle to increase my metabolism and finally get rid of this fat that my body refuses to get rid of.
My question is, since I'm trying to put on weight, should I just eat everything I can get my hands on, or just focus on lean proteins? I'm also working out a lot, so at what point is my metabolism and muscle mass restored enought to do a cut?
By the way, I am 6'2 and about 150 pounds.
