Hey, I had a quick question regarding incline bench and military press. I have been doing these exercises a few months now with no issues until recent weeks. I've noticed that while I'm doing the incline press (I do 155-175 pounds so not extremely heavy) I feel some type of compression in my rib cage. Once I finish my set and put the weight back down I can feel my rib cage decompress and there's some pain for about 5 seconds. It almost feels like someone is squeezing my ribs or something, and the pain occurs towards the bottom and middle of my rib cage on each side. Is this normal or does it seem like some sort of injury?
To this point I've just been pushing through it but it seems that every workout it's a little more prominent and bumping weights will only make it worse I'm sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
