In Desperate Need of Advice

I've pretty much run out of ideas about how to lose weight in my lower body. I exercise 6 times/week (aerobics 6 times/week 45 minutes, heavy weights 3 times/week 30 minutes) and eat clean (breakfast: whole grain cereral, milk, whey protein snack: lean protein, a piece of fruit lunch: turkey on whole wheat with mustard, carrot sticks snack: lean protein, piece of fruit dinner: lean meat, veggie, starch; usually something starchy like rice or red potato, might throw in half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich). While I know I'm definitely more fit and stronger than before I began exercising and watching the things I eat more closely, the fat on my buttocks, hips and thighs doesn't seem to be going anywhere. My abs and upper body are the only things that seem to have improved. I'm a pretty small framed woman and only have at most 6-10 pounds to lose (5'3 118 lbs) which I know makes it more difficult, but with all the hard work I put in it seems like something should be happening. Does anyone have any suggestions? Exercises I might try? Changes in my diet? What am I missing?

your probally on a plateau... trying changing up your cardio routine or try HIIT, and mix up your weight routine also, your body has gotten used to what your doing so your gains and losses have stoped. if all that does work try shifting your diet a bit, also try to fit in 6 small meals instead of 3 large ones this will boost your metabolism even more. other than that just keep working at it, and you will get the results you want.

You could be plateauing. It also seems like you are doing WAY too much cardio. I would cut the cardio down to 4 days a week and see how that works for a month or so. Your diet seems right on.
