I'm Upping Calories Once Again

I'm terrified once again. But I want to become quite fit, so the only way to do this properly is to up.

So I am making the leap from 1400 calories to 1800 calories a day. I really am scared. But I was talking with some other people who are have all made a pact recently to up to 1800 calories a day, and they are all doing extremely well, eating wonderfully and they don't binge or overeat.

Is it a dream?

Just do the upping slowly - maybe at 200 per week. Don't be discouraged if you gain weight at first - your metabolism has to straighted itself out, but after eating consistently 1800 and healthy, you will begin to lose weight and see results.

1800 calories isn't a dream as long as you are excersizing more. A very good book that helped me is Denise Austin's Shrink Your Female Fat Zones. I think it's $17.95? I was 5-4 and 140 and some change.. I think it was closer to 145 in October 2004. I decided that using the excuse I just had a baby was getting old. He was six months old. I started using that method, and have lost almost 20 lbs! She has a food program of 1400, 1600 and 1800 calories. I have two children under 3, so my excersizing is limited, so I chose 1400. I feel great, and even my Son's Pediatrician took notice today. It really makes you feel good. Good luck!
