before i exercised alot .. running, sports ect.
now i still do ... but for the last week or so ... i havent because i always get so paranoid that im going to lose all my muscle if i start exercising.
i usually like to go for a 2.5 or 5 mile run which last 25 - 50 minutes depending on which distance i want.
when i was running alot i would always be paranoid and think that my muscles were just kind of shrinking ... alot.
if i were to start running alot (4-5 days a week) would i burn off alot of muscle .. or would it just be minimal. Note that i also consume alot of protein each day (about 186g (my bodyweight) ) .... and for carbs .. ne where between 180g - 250g and for fat between 40g - 50g
i just want to lose the fat to look more toned and defined ... i feel like when i run alot or exercise alot each day in general, that im losing muscle and fat .. which almost does nothing for me .... because if my muscle deteriorates while i lose fat ... i wont get any definition or toning.
ne one have ne advice to tell me .. maybe in ratio how much muscle is usually burned to the amount of bodyfat.
am i overexagerating the amount of muscle loss when exercising?
