Just wanted to say welcome and I highly recommend reading through the Sticky threads in this forum as well--Steve's Rant on the basic concepts being one of the best. Being 38 myself it does not come as easy as it used to--but the basics still work every time. Welcome!

I have tried and failed at weight loss more times than I can remember, but I am still posting here more than a year after I joined. (Cos I lost weight in direct relation to posting!! ) This is a great place for making a difference.
