Im not sure where to post this....

My wife is doing a fund raiser for her best friend. Here is the info she gave me. I told her I would post it on the forums I vist.

Good morning!

Over the summer I found out that one of my best college friends was pregnant with twins. On Saturday, September 16, she started labor at 24 weeks and they were unable to stop it. Micah Todd & John Timothy were born. Weighing in at less than 2 pounds each, their fight for life started immediately.

Then, yesterday I received a devastating email. Little John Timothy had passed away on Sunday. Micah is still growing and getting stronger each day, however. And started ‘kangaroo-ing’ with his mommy! (Erin puts him on her chest & studies have found that this helps greatly in their growth & development.)

Even with the good news that Micah is doing better, they all still have a long road ahead of them. They estimate Micah’s hospital stay to be until at least December. This will include lots of trips back and forth from their Chicago apartment to the Evanston hospital with these high gas prices… meals either at the hospital or on the road… and they soon will have many, many hospital bills.

Knowing they will have so many expenses, I couldn’t just sit back and watch. So, my sister & I have donated a few things and put them up for a charity raffle on my online scrapbook store. If you would like to help by purchasing raffle tickets, all you have to do is register for an account through hyena cart (where my store is located). It’s totally free to set up an account. And you pay using PayPal, which is the same way you can pay for a lot of Ebay items.

The link to my store is: There is a link with information about the raffles & everything on the storefront is a raffle item. I hope to add more in the future.

You can read more about Matt, Erin, and little Micah at . Click on “Visit.” Then, in the first blank, type micahandjohn. You will be amazed as you read their journal entries. They have proven to be incredibly strong and rely completely upon their faith—their strength is truly and inspiration to me.

Thank you!
