Welcome to WLF. This is a great place to find advice and get some support at the same time. I know how frustrating it is to see the numbers keep fluctuating on the scale. I only weigh in now once a week since the numbers can change day to day. What are your goals? Anyways good luck and hope you reach your goals

I know people say you should only weigh in once a week, but I weigh myself every morning before I do anything else. It keeps me accountable. I find that if I do a weekly weigh-in, I tend to be lazier and think that I can be naughty about eating b/c I don't have to weigh-in for another x number of days. I find that as long as I stick to the diet and exercise, I don't fluctuate much, and every 1/2 pound I lose just gives even more incentive to keep going.

But that's just me. I know it doesn't work that way for everyone. You have to do what works best for you.

thanks everyone. my goal is to reach 165ish... I used to play basketball alot when i was 180, but when i was 252 i couldnt handle it anymore. From then on, i said i have to be in shape.
