I'm new, yet so old. And this weight loss thing is getting old for me too. On a quest AGAIN to lose those last, stubborn 123 pounds.. lol.

I'm 42, and I have two grown children, one of each. They're both in college, one away, one at home. I'm divorced, had lost 135 pounds 12 years ago, never really reached my goal, and for some godforesaken reason I just said "Screw it" after 7 years and gained 85 pounds back.

I was thinking about weight loss surgery, but I know I can do this myself. I'm healthy, I have the determination and tools to work out and I've gotten off to a good start these past three weeks.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome Tassia,

I'm new to the forum also, but like you, I'm no stranger to the cycle of weight loss-weight gain either. I'm 22 years old and I have approximately 100 lbs I'd like to lose (I refuse to weigh myself until Monday morning, when I "officially" start my workout/nutrition regimen). Anyways, we have both proven to ourselves before that we are able to do this so we just have to be willing to put forth the effort and make ourselves our #1 priorities in order to be able to do so. Best of luck to you,

Kara
