ok so i've lost about ten pounds so far in the last two weeks. however this week i've hardly lost and actually went back up a couple pounds. i work out everyday...walk a mile a half, do some resistance/weight training and have lowered my calorie intake. it looks/feels like i'm loosing inches but not the weight so much and my legs are becoming a lot more toned. should i lay off the resistance/weight part for a while to try and just lose the weight? thanks for your help!

Nope.. the resistance part is going to play a factor in your long t erm success.

Just because the scale changed by 10 lbs in two weeks, doesn't mean that you lost 10 lbs of fat - some of that could have been a simple fluctuation, soe could be water... it probably was not all fat.

As has been said here regularly -Consistency is what will get you to your final goal - keep focused on the long term goal - good health - and what you're looking like...

if you're legs are looking more toned -that's a good thing...

What do your measurements tell you - and if you aren't takking measurements -START!! NOW!!! becuase that will give yo a better idea of success than the scale will
