Ok - so, after not posing here for quite some time, and screwing up left and right. I'm back.
I just started back today.
Let me tell you a little about what brings me here.
I'm 30 years old, married to my wonderful husband Mike, living in Chicagoland.
A few years ago, we decided to start having children. After 2 miscarriages, I had surgery to fix my uterus, then found out after another miscarriage that I had abnormal chromosomes. We decided to say goodbye to trying to conceive naturally - and hello to invitro fertilization(IVF).
Well - my weight has been going up, coming down, going up, coming down for a while now. And - now I'm back to 216 lbs (as of this morning - I'm hoping a lot is water weight....)
Well - a side effect of the drugs (lupron now) is weight gain - but, I don't think a side effect is "eating whatever I want"
- I have been doing that lately.
I started school this year - decided to become a nurse. Realistically, this is my dream. But - still, I know I decided to persue it at this time so that I can put my concentration that way.... and try to push past the fact that I'm having fertility issues. It's been heartbreaking to say the least.
Anyway - I figured I would re-introduce myself, since I have been missing for a while, and jump right back on the band wagon - if you all don't mind!!
I really need to stay focused. Weight could be a contributing factor to some of my infertility issues - and I need to get healthy!!
On the bright side - I've been smoke free for almost a year!
