I'm 5'4 and 130 pounds...why do I look so awful...Pics included...):

This is the first time I've taken pics in my swimsuit and I didn't think that I looked so bad.

I used to be around 145 pounds, and with the weight loss - it gave me a boost of confidence which is why I purchased this swimsuit in the first place.

Now seeing pictures of myself in it...it's a real downer for me and I'm feeling pretty glum right now. :(

I have so much fat in my stomach still and look wide. My stomach is a lot more noticeable from the side as you can see.
I really want to have that hourglass figure like Kim Kardashian etc.
I'm afraid that if I lose any more weight, I'll lose whatever little curves I have and end up skinny with some "straight-shaped" waist. :(

Suggestions...? :(

You look good! I don't think you have a tummy, it just looks like your shape to me. I would focus on weight training to tone up and add definition. Your not going to bulk up so don't worry about that. You have a great body already so I think a little toning and you'll be trading in that glum feeling. :seeya:

I think you look great. If anything, maybe just a little toning. Another thing to think about is that not every swimsuit is for everybody. Yours is adorable, but maybe a different style would suit your shape better. The swimsuit really does make a difference. In any case...you look great! :)

I think you look pretty good. Don't give yourself a complex and you end up very thin because you see yourself as wide, which you are not. See yourself as 130lbs. You lost 15lbs and it's always harder to lose weight when you don't have that much to lose. You should be proud of yourself. Do some strength training so you can tone up. It will happen if you are consistent. Make it a goal to strength train three days a week. You can do it! You look great!

I personally think you look good. If I saw you on the beach my head would be turning. :) Don't be too hard on yourself.

I actually think that little belly thing women have is attractive. It part of your curves and it looks fantastic. I don't think you should lose any more weight because then you start seeing bones and that is just not right. Stay where you are girl. Good job!

I didn't get to see your pictures but I understand what you feel because I am also 5'4 and 128 pounds and I feel fat when I am at the pool or beach but actually we are at our weight range and what we need to do is just tone thats what I have been working on for the past month it takes time for your waist to go down because thats the main thing that makes me feel fat not my belly its my hips :(

I am 5'4 also but the difference is I weigh 175lbs and honestly the way you look here is how I want to look, only I'm hoping to look similar to you when I'm at 145lbs (I do a lot of strength training so I should be nicely toned once the fat disappears haha!) I like my curves too.

Don't be hard on yourself, you look great!
Try strength training if you haven't done already, and see how you feel.

Congrats on losing 15lbs you should be proud of yourself.
:)

Well, as others have already said, you look really good! You're very pretty! :D

I agree that you're being way too hard on yourself :)

You look fantastic! I'm thinking you may be hanging out with some skinny friends or something. Your bikini choice could possibly be better but it is hard to tell because I can't see your legs and you also did not include a back side photo. I think your bikini top is cute and is a good choice because you have good um, is cleavage the politically correct word I'm looking for? ;) Your bikini bottom may have room for improvement but again, I can't say for sure without photos that show more of your legs and back side. I'm usually not a fan of the skirt type bottoms but yours looks really good from the side. Again though, you look great just the way you are.

I personally think you look great, a lot of people are aiming to look like you :)
maybe your posture could have something to do with how your tummy sits? i'm not saying your postures bad or anything! but who knows? worth a try ^_^
by the by love the frills on your bikini bottoms, too cute!

Nice bikini, nice figure, dont lose any more weight because you dont want your bones to show and have a jutting-out collarbone. Do yoga for your posture and that will make a difference after about a month or so x

You look fine. You need to embrace the shape you have, which is a good shape, stop comparing yourself to others. Kardashian's shape is hers, yours is yours. You can't change the natural overall shape you're born with short of surgery. And even while that suit is cute, to be honest I think there's an even more flattering swimsuit for you out there (get one without a skirt).

I weigh 5lbs more than you, same height, and don't look nearly that nipped in at the waist. I honestly think its just a bad swimsuit choice. You already have an hourglass shape you're just wearing the wrong thing to accentuate it. Just my opinion tho

Thank you everyone...I feel a lot better about myself now.

I just really would like a stomach like this without losing a lot on my chest:

I have to say, I think you look great. I've NEVER looked that good. Sure that doesn't mean we all have the same perception, it depends on what your standards are and what you are used to. But either way, no one will think you don't look good so you can wear that confidently on the beach or wherever you want.

After that, if you want to be more toned, there are plenty of toning exercises you can do which you can find online or see a fitness instructor / personal trainer to help you get what you want.

But please, remember that you do look good, healthy, thin, etc. and you are already an inspiration to many :D

The girl in that photo is almost definitely some sort of figure model and she probably has implants. I'm not necessarily against implants, I'm just letting you know when you reach very lean levels as a woman, you lose a lot of the fat in your chest too. The good news is you really aren't that far from looking like that. You really do look very good. The bad news is, the effort it would take for even you to achieve the proportions that model has is incomprehensible to most. I have a look I am trying to achieve. I've been working on it a little over 3 years, arguably 14 years depending on how you look at it. The only thing I can say at this point is that it is no longer incomprehensible to me. I think I fully comprehend what it takes, I just haven't been able to achieve it yet. At least not to its entirety. I'm still working on it.

If you want to improve yourself, there is nothing wrong with that at all. This site is all about that. Unless you are sickly thin, we won't discourage you from improving yourself.
