I'm 19 years old and almost 400 pounds, want to change my life.

Hello, as stated above, I'm 19 years old and almost 400 pounds. I've been big for as long as I can remember. I'm not easily motivated and like to do nothing. I've also lived where it's hard to get going, as it's usually cold or raining outside. I've been thinking about going to a nutritionist (or some type of doctor.) I know I'm able to lose the weight, but I'm mentally trained that I can't stop, even if I'm deathly tired. I got that mentality from when I used to wrestle a few years back. My lowest weight withing 3~ years was about 265, But I've gained around 130 pounds since then.

I have a somewhat bad habit to eat unhealthy food ever since I've gotten my job as a Sobering Technician. I can keep the urge down to not eat the unhealthy food, as I don't like the feeling of it afterwards. I've been sort of depressed and lethargic the last few months and it's starting to become winter where I live. The only kind of workout I do is going up and down the stairs in my apartment and not much else.

I'm reaching out to anyone who can reach out and give me support and or information on how I can farther my goal in becoming healthier.

TL/DR
I'm 19 and 400 pounds, Wanting to lose weight.

Hi Daniel and welcome I'm sure there will be plenty of advice coming. It's good that you said 'I want to change my life' as opposed to 'I need to lose x amount of weight', that's the best way of looking at it! I posted some general advice on my own experience here https://weight-loss.fitness.com/threads/my-transformation-pictures-story-and-tips.88117/ but perhaps a little info on how you're currently planning to start from a nutrition and exercise point of view may help you get some advice. If you wrestled presumably you're medically able to do various types of exercise? What are your thoughts on what you need to change about your nutrition? Good luck buddy!
