Hi Everybody, my name is Ben, and I'm really new to all this weight loss stuff. I read somet diets that are good, and bad, plans that cut the calories, or cut the fat, and I honestly don't know what to do. Everybody keeps telling me to just "Eat healthy, and excersize". Why thanks to them, but that's being way to general. I WANT DETAILS! Haha, I want to know what to do, how to do it, and what I should eat! When I go on the internet, on the other hand, there are so many articles that are scams, or I have to pay for, which I really dont want to do. So if any of you guys can help me a little here, then you guys would be awesome. I know I'm not overweight, but I'd just like to loose a little extra fat before I go on Vacation in Vegas, so I don't feel as guilty gaining weight as I usually do when I go on Vacation.
Here are the details...
- I am 15 Years Old, born 1/7/95.
- My weight fluctuates day to day, from 144-147.
- I am about 5'6, plus or minus an inch.
- My jean size (no idea if this matters) is 28-30. Depending on the brand, ie.
28 in True Religion, 30 in select few Levis.
- When I try eating all vegtables, I feel like I just barely ate, even if I just ate a huge bowl of salad (same goes along with fruits sometimes)
- Sometimes when I try to eat all vegatables and fruits, I feel like I'm not satisfied, and I need some good amount of Meat, Cheese, anything heavy.
- Right now, my activity level is Light. I go to school, carry my backpack around when I switch classes, walk to lunch (I have a big school), and when I get home go take a dance class 3 out of the 7 days a week, for maybe 1.5 hours, with Moderate activity during that class.
- Im really confused on what to do.. Cut fat? Cut Calories? Excersize more?
MY PLAN: My plan is to loose about 2 1/2 pounds per week, for 3 1/2 weeks, so I lose in total around 7-9 pounds. I know that one pound of fat, will take 3,500 calories to burn, so in total I should be burning about 8,750 calories a week, or 1,250 calories a day... Not sure if my fat intake matters or not.. No idea! Thats why I need some help...
