Hi well I have trouble running. That is why i'm choosing to walk for at least 2 hours every day as my form of exercise. I'm currently eating really healthy and only drinking water. I cut out all junk food, diary products (I only drink almond milk), bread, sugary sweets like chocolate, cake, ice cream. etc., greasy foods, all that unhealthy stuff. So if I continue this will I lose weight? My goal is to lose at least like 30 pounds. Btw I am a 15 year old girl and my height is 5'0 and I weigh 123 lbs. Thank you! :)

hi..yea..this what i do walk to and from work, and like you have cut all the crap out, and all i need to lose is 8lbs..i lost another 1lb this morning :)

I also eat less..if i like to eat something i do, but less of it on a small plate...When i work to work it takes me an hour and its 3 miles..Then i walk back to other work..all in all i walk to and from work, and did 18 miles in total

Yes, good question. The question should be will your calories you are consuming have a negative effect on the amount of exercise you are doing. If you eat healthy, and excessive regularly, you should lose weight. I do a workout daily which burns about 800 calories, it equates to walking 5 miles. I have been eating very healthy and have lost 30 lbs since June 15. Good luck.

Depends on how motivated you are, how do you feel about all these lifestyle changes and how long are you going to keep on going.
So, what are your motives to lose 30 pounds?
How do you really feel? Not how you want to feel but how do you really feel when you don't consume chocolate, a delicious ice cream or a cheeseburger with a cola type drink.
Have you ever considered for how long are you going to follow this lifestyle?
You must agree that only when we'll have sincere answers to these questions, we can give you a valid feedback.

If you keep up these good habits you should lose weight.

If you do not lose weight - then it would be worth examining the things that you eat in detail. Sometimes high calorie food can look healthy and slip into what appears to be a healthy diet - and sending the calories higher than you imagine... At such a stage it is worth weighing and measuring food and making sure that it makes sense for weight loss.

For instance it is well worth looking at the calorie content of things like sauces involved in meals and things like nuts. Also portion size can be worth considering. I know that I can eat a lot of calories in healthy food.

i agree with the portion sizes..I now have a even smaller plate, and now have half of what i used to eat..i can't eat big meals now as i get bloated up and feel terrible...also i have cut of all chocolate, crisps, bread, ( but i do have the odd piece of toast)..i don't eat burgers, bacon, rolls,( i do have the odd sausage(s), but like 2 on the plate, i don't drink anything fizzy either, just coffee, water or a diluted squash drink( i can't eat any diary products anyway , so if i have chocolate it has to be dark dairy free type)

Just walking is not the solution for the weight loss problem you will have to maintain a good diet habit also and regularity in your walking and food habit program.
