Hi I’m new to the group. I hit my goal weight about three years ago(started losing the weight 8 years ago)after struggling with obesity from the time I was a toddler. I exercise 5-6 days a week despite having a lifelong back disorder using a program designed for me by a team of Dartmouth specialists. My routine is mild and low key compared to probably most of you but it works for me. I used to think I had to exercise rigorously for an hour every day but I believe one of the reasons I am faithful to my exercise is because I have chosen to not commit to a level of exercise that in the past I would not adhere to. My program is only 40 minutes and I may increase it at some point but for me it works. It allows me some extra calories and gives me an energy and mental boost that I actually crave now.
