Ideal Weight?

At my worst, I was about 225 lbs a few years ago. I have been hovering at about 200 lbs for the past year, unable to make any more "easy progress". I've identified some bad eating habits and admit to inconsistent exercise as I embark on my latest attempt to get fit. I'm a tad less than 6'1", and have always had a heavier build. I'd like to have a 33” waist, instead of having to wear 36” with a belt all the time. I'm not really sure what my "ideal weight" should be. I think I need to lose another 20 – 25 lbs.

Hi Chillin',
If you're looking to lose a few more pounds, I'd start by changing your avatar! I might gain weight just by looking at it ;)

I'm sure there are others who will have some good and specific input to help you along, I just wanted to welcome you to the WLF.

Best of luck as you reach the goals you find for yourself.

I can't tell if you actually have a question here or not. Are you asking how to shed some body fat?

Oh yea, and sweet underwear. :p

I am just debating what my idea weight should be. The swimsuit photos just document where I'm at now.

Various places on the web say 175 lbs is ideal, given my height and age. I wonder if it's realistic...

(By the way, that is actually a swimsuit!)

Ideal for me is where I would be happy with my physique. That is entirely up to me. If I had your build in those pics, I would be trying to slash some body fat, but that is me personally. I have strict goals. Ideal based on what? Looks, health, etc.

And sweet bathing suit. :D
