This has probably been asked before, but I have a question about Ideal Weight. I have started to compile information for my very own Weight Loss Journal. As I was looking at the questions, two jumped out at me.
“How much weight do you want to lose?” and “How realistic is your goal?”
I have stated several time I would love to be down to 190lbs (currently 360lbs 6’ tall, large frame). Is this a realistic goal? Consulting a few of the online weight calculators I got mixed results on what my weight should be. One site says 178lbs while another says 165. Some sites gave a range of 164 to 188. Last but not least I got an answer from one that came closer to the goal I had originally considered. This site said Ideal Weight Range should be 190-194lbs.
So here are my questions:
Which site has it right?
Should I even be shooting for “Ideal Weight”?
How have you determined your weight goal?
Any help that anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.
