i'd like a 6-pack.

i was just wondering.. whats the best way to burn stomache fat... and preferably arm fat too.
i would assume i put this in the "toning" section.
also, i bought this "hydroxycut" stuff for $45 USD...
i run on the treadmill... is 3 miles a day enough?
i also stopped eating as much, and eating better...
i take this whey protein stuff... says its like 20Grams Protein 6Grams carbs and 3Grams fat per serving.
is this the best way of going about it? any tips?

EDIT: by the way, i believe i have enough muscle there, just too much fat. more muscle would be nice, but im more concerned about getting rid of the FAT. i do plenty of situps and crunches + leg lifts... i was thinkin its just my diet maybe?
im 5'11" and 165LBS... 17 years old.

EDIT AGAIN: looked at the forum a bit, found this:

havent read it all the way yet, but i will.
ill do that for a few weeks and get back to you. any extra tips are appreciated :)

Basic rules of thumb:
1. You can't lose fat in a specific area. Lose it everywhere, and eventually you'll hit those spots
2. Eat a clean diet. Certain foods will cause the storage of fat in particular areas. Nasty bitch, ain't that?
3. Lots of ways to burn fat. Basically think "burn calories" - weightlifting and cardio both do the trick
4. "Abs are made in kitchen". Proper nutrition is your best friend for abs.

i understand #1, but doesn't #2 contradict #1 in a way?
i just joined the forum last night and this morning my breakfast consisted of 2 hard boiled eggs (only the whites) and the top of a kaiser roll (i like the seeds lol)
lol i dishwash at a restaurant... this means no more stealing bacon. hahaha
i guess thats a good thing though :)
i get sick of the stuff anyways.

lol what foods should i avoid, i don't really need to lose fat in the leg areas... but more my butt, stomache, love handles.. etc...
i duno, i figured stay away from fatty foods first of all... lol
im definitely a novice.

Stay away from simple sugars and alcohols, which tend to cause storage of fat in that area because of a hormone called cortisol. Reducing stress also reduces the production of cortisol.

Yeh, no quick fix I'm afraid. You can't spot reduce so you'll have to look at an all over body fix. So as has been said, cut down on all the refined rubbish and eat healthy. Eat below calorie maintenance and keep working out and doing some cardio.

yea, its tough.
i find it hard to just not eat... i mean its not that im hungry, its just that the food tastes good... lol, and its THERE all the TIME! :) oh well, i just need to train myself to think its gross thats all... lol
