Well this is fabulous. And you need never binge out on high calorie icecream again. You do need a food processor


Buy some bananas. Peel them, put them in the freezer.


When ready to eat some icecream, take out one banana, chop it roughly into smaller pieces. Put in the food processor, add a splash of milk and blend till the lumps are gone.


This has the perfect icecream texture. If you want it sweeter, well you can add some castor sugar dissolved in the milk earlier which might need heating. Or you can add a little honey.


Other ideas.

Try adding a couple of spoons of natural yoghurt instead of milk


You can probably do this iwth any frozen fruit. But note that some fruit high in water content may need a little defrosting in the microwave first. Just enough to take the rockness out of it.

And then if you like you can mix them up.


If you don't like milk, a blended frozen banana is still pretty damn good.
