1 Year ago to this week I submitted my weight loss progress to the progress table - I had worked hard the whole year and had lost over 25 pounds...
Then things sorta turned for the worse...
I caught my father cheating on my mother...
My grandfather died...
I wrote my school final examinations...
I drank a lot (its legal here at 18) during the holiday...
And on top of that I started college this year. So its been independence and for the first half of the year I found myself eating lots and doing very little exercise...
When I got on the scale I had practically gained back all of the 25 I had worked off in a matter of 8 months or so...
So that was 2 months ago... since then I have been running 4-5 times a week, 4km every day, and getting myself healthier. I ran in a half-marathon last Saturday and finished an hour before cut off time - even earning a bronze medal... over 2 hours I spent on the road running... didn't stop...so I was very impressed...
I have lost about 8 pounds so far and wanted to come back until I reach my goal again - I have aimed at reaching it in March of 2008. I want to get back to that level and continue working out.
Just wanted to share my story, hope some of you are still around from 18 months ago!
