I was a skinny kid. Short, thin and all around demure. A lot has changed since then.
My weight slowly went up and up in college, with a short 40 lb weight loss when I joined WW before my wedding but then years of cooking, eating, and pregnancies ensued.
I have two beautiful boys, one is two and a half and one is only 5 months old. I don’t want to be an over weight mom. I want to be fit and healthy not only for myself but for my boys. How can I convince them to eat healthy and be active if I am not?
I started my new weight loss journey 2 months ago at 204 lbs. I have lost 13 lbs so far. I am doing the weight watcher program but I admit I am pretty much doing a halfway job on the journaling. My goal for this week is to journal!
I started a walking challenge with some friends of mine as well – 1,000 miles in one year! I am 52 miles so far. The walking has really helped me!
My biggest obstacles are eating OUT – especially going out for lunch at work! And ice cream.
We do not eat meat. I have a cooking blog where I keep all my modified recipes and notes on how my family liked them. I hope to find some friends and support here and am happy to meet you all!
