I want sexy abs: pic attached

Hi,

I haven't been here in awhile. It is good to be back. I would like to know what abdominal exercises are the best to achieve this look. I don't want the six pack ab look that guys have because I don't think that is very attractive on a female.

Thank You!

about my pics?

I don't have a way to put my pics on here right now. Sorry. I used to weigh 115 lbs and had a very tight sculpted body but I gained some over the holidays so I am going to lose that then hopefully I can look like I used to. I was more buff than most guys that go to my gym. One guy even said he hasn't seen abs like mine since he was in the military. What a confidence booster! I wasn't big just tightly toned. I used to get compliments all the time on my body. Some people thought I was training for fitness shows, others thought I was a cheer leader, but they were all wrong. I was just working out for me to make myself feel good. I miss all that, so now I am working extra hard to get back in shape. I had the six pack abs but I think the ones in the pics I attached to my first post are more attractive and I want to find a way to get mine to look somewhat like that. If I can find a way to get my pics on here I definitley would.:) Later guys!

You can't just do exercises to get those abs. Its mainly your diet if you have to adjust.

BUT i would do crunches on the ball, get a good stretch, bicycle kicks, elbow to knee, and knee raises, on the floor suck your stomach in and bring knees up to 90 degree angle one at a time. Also, I would do squats they help fix your posture and give you a good shape.

Thanks champr23 for the advice, I will try that. I have been trying to eat right for the past couple of months, so far i have been doing pretty good at not eating so much junk food. I also have a desk job for the first time in my life so I am not as active as I used to be. I am just working out extra hard at the gym. Hopefully I will reach my goal soon. I gained about 10 lbs over the holidays which really sucks.:( I weighed 115 now I am at 125. I am getting there, but very slowly. Later.;)

Yeah, with that diet abs are a farrr way away. Not only would you need to cut ALL junk food, you would also need to cut most foods that have little nutritional value/the calories they give.

I mean I don't eat a lot of junk food, just a little. I eat more fruit and vegetables than anything. My sample diet is usually a yogurt or oatmeal, fruit and water for breakfast. For lunch I usually eat a salad, subway, or one of those south beach diet meals and some fruit or vegetables and water. I eat some snacks. Then I go to the gym for awhile after work. When I get home I eat a sensible dinner so I don't eat a whole lot of junk. What would you suggest I snack on at work?

I'd say beef jerky, because it's supreme to any other food ever created by man or God.

Plus, I can tell from your photos you enjoy looking hot and bothered. Nothing hotter or more bothering than woman tearing through dehydrated beef.

Seriously though, get your hands on some snacks that are higher in protien, with moderate carbs.

It doesn't look like the women in those pictures do much weight lifting or direct ab work. I would guess they do some running, and focus mainly on eating a healthy diet. Healthy enough that they don't whither away to nothing.

The important thing is to make sure your diets consist of a good percentage of protein, carbs and fat. It you don't get all three, you will not get the results you want. From what you've said so far, you appear to be avoiding red meats and fats.

Fats don't make you fat, sugar does. Foods like oatmeal are great for carbs. I eat oatmeal almost every morning, but you need protein and fat too. Try adding milk to your breakfast. Include some kind of meat or fish at lunch. Tuna is great if you like it.

can be a pretty good resource. Try keeping track o your calories there for a week or so and you may be surprised at what you learn.

I eat lots of meat mainly at dinner, but I do eat meat with my lunch just not a whole lot. I used to drink whey protein shakes after I went to the gym but I quit that a year ago and I had a body that many people complimented me on. Should I still continue with the protein shakes or do those make you fat? If so, what is the best brand? Thanks guys you all are so helpful!

Protein shakes I have always thought were pretty important, especially important post-workout. I never heard anything about them making anyone fat, I've always heard that it helps your muscles heal, or, something like that, basically it just helps 'feed' your muscles, and stuff. Personally I would recommend them, or at least some sort of protein right after you work out, and allow them to grow.
