suffering a "burn-out". I've been working on weight loss since early spring and lately it seems so tough to stick with it. For a while, it was smooth sailing and I had tremendous will-power, BUT, lately (though I am still sticking with it) I feel like I am getting "bored" with it or something. :confused:
I want to keep working at it so bad, and I'm not giving up, but I have this "frustrated" feeling. I even took a "cheat" day to see if that would help but it didn't. Anyone ever go through this?
I've walked my treadmill everyday with lots of encouragement, now I look at it and DREAD even getting on it? What's wrong with me?????????????????? :(
 
Happens ;) we all go through it i think. you need to change it up a little. instead of the treadmill(at home or gym?)at the gym well switch up the machines take a class, do something diffrent
at home try some tapes for cardio. or go for a walk outside or jog. gotta keep it fresh and exciting or youll get really bored.
add some resistance training, change your routine around. food.exercise times. just shake the whole thing up :)

I simpathise with you pixie, I am going through the same thing. I did sooo good at first on my diet but now I'm struggling to get through one day. When I read your post I realized thats my problem. I'm not excited about it anymore, its boring. Now I recognize it as the problem, I think its time to SHAKE THINGS UP!!
 
Oh..i am soo there right now..I am feeling very sick of the grind..but im sicker of being fat...so im trying to use that to motivate me back to the hard work & the schedule. You can do it...look at what you've accomplished so far!
 
Thank you ladies. I went out tonight to the movies and a lady walked by that was in great shape and I thought, "I can't give up on myself." So, I am going to give shaking things up a good try! :D

PS... how do I turn on the HTML in my settings? I wanted to do a ticker here! :p
