hi everyone hope your as pleased to see me as i am you, i always love joining new forums.

so i relised i had put on about 4lbs which wasnt good as i`m always tryin to watch my weight, then i went to see my mum to do some christmas shopping and she said to me i had put on alot of weight. so i changed my diet to more healthyer food and gradually i`ve managed to eat somthing healthy everyday of the week and i`ve lost almost 5lbs. however it hasnt lifted me much becuase i know how easy it is to put back on.

basicly i`m trying to lose and stone as i`ve never lost more than half a stone and i think loseing a stone would be imposable. so here goes, i`m getting the new xbox kinnect in a week or so with the biggest loser video game if anyone else is gettin it..

Man, I know how you feel...I usually get the "you gained weight" comment when I go see my mom, and its pretty terrible. Hopefully I can surprise them this winter.

And don't be down about five pounds, its great. Every pound you lose is a pound you will never see again...keep telling yourself this and soon you will believe it :)

I think the best game for weight loss period is DDR, especially in the Heavy difficulties. I lost a lot of weight with it before I had my relapse. Now, I'm almost back down to that size and can't wait to pick it up again.

Oops and welcome to the forums, be sure to come back and visit daily.

thanks man, i really belive in this new diet i have planned. although i dont know what game DDR is sorry.

Scottsblue You Can Do It!!

I just join this forum also, and it seems to be a good place to help us to get back on the saddle. I have been hearing a lot of good things about the XBox 160. May get one for myself!

Daybehavior, what is DDR, is that a game for XBox?

Good luck guys!!

Sorry I didn't elaborate guys. DDR is Dance Dance Revolution, an extremely loosely based "dancing simulator" it no way resembles dancing as you just mash arrows with your foot to the beat of different songs you select. Sounds simple, but ridiculously fun, addictive, and challenging. You will DEFINITELY work up a good sweat if you progress deep into it.

Its available on all the major systems, but I prefer the the arcade because their pads are 1000x better.

As Daybehavior said, DDR is a realy good workout if you jump on it for an hour or more a day, definalty got me sweating quite a bit when i had a go, but was tons of fun!

I too also had the comment from my mother which made me kinda sad but now ive been on my diet 1 week with excersie and have lost 10 pounds! :)

Good luck scottsblue.

I say we both resume DDRing this week and see what the results are :p

Just figured I asked but approximately how many is lbs in a "stone"? I see the word so much around here and I get confused although I know what a kilo is at least.

Thanks Daybehavior for explaining DDR, I seen something like it at GattiLand (pizza place) that would be a good workout and fun! I use a walk-at-home DVD by Leslie Sansone (5 Day Slim Down). Scottsblue and Daybehavior, moms are Worry Warts when it comes to their children, no matter how old they are. I have a 32 year old son still at home (going to school). I just got on him for not eating good. He is 6' 1" and weights 154 lbs (bean poll). I didn't know "stone" meant measurement, is that European measurement? I have a lot to learn on hear!

Stay with it this time Scottsblue you can do it! So can we Daybehavior!!

Anna

Yes we can Anna ;) We have a Gatti Land around here too. Didn't know they went beyond Texas. Yeah you're son really is a bean pole :D I guess its better than the alternative though.

Let us know how the Biggest Loser game turns out, Scott. I love the show and its been one of my many points of inspiration.
