I need some advice about losing 15 pounds. I have tried just about everything...calorie counting, weight watchers, adkins, fruit diets, ect...and I just can't seem to find something that fits into my daily life and helps me to lose any weight! I'm in nursing school so i'm REALLY busy. I exercise 30-45min cardio 4x/week and weight lift 30min 3x/week so i know it's not the exercise that is the problem. I eat really well-i have celiac disease so i can't eat any bready carbs or cakes, donuts... all the good stuff! I just can't seem to lose weight! I need some advice, ideas, anything!

Not sure as far as advice as your doing pretty good amount of exercise. How many calories are you taking in on a daily bases and how much are you burning in your cardio workouts? I noticed when i wasn't eating enough but yet still exercising a lot i wasn't losing due to my body holding onto all the food i put in as i was in starvation mode and that is when your body will hold onto everything you eat since it feels like your depriving it of nutrients and stuff you need.

Thanks! I've thought about that...I think my calorie intake is adequate for my expenditure...I probably eat around 2000 kcal/day and when I exercise I lose about 500 kcal. I don't know! I just need some guidance or maybe meet with a dietician. I'm certified as a personal trainer so I should know!

Busy schedules make eating and exercising properly difficult.

However, you've got to find a way to make it work. Setting something up with the least amount of restrictions would probably be best. I'd focus on a balanced diet that is 'preset' for calories. This way, you can prep your food in advance and grab it on the go.

If you can find a way to be in a consistent caloric deficit the weight will come off.
