Hey there Mandy, welcome aboard, we are all very supportive here...I would suggest you start a diary and hten the support will flow to you...Im Cerella and if you need and want help and support along the way I am here for ya...take care and good luck!!!

Hey! I'm in the same boat. My husband is somewhat supportive of me dieting to lose the baby weight, but he keeps telling me I don't need to lose it. I gained 65lbs while pregnant and have 45 to go. I want to lose this weight for myself. So, if you are looking for a dieting buddy, here I am!! Good luck!

It's great to have a supportive husband that loves you the way that you are.
My husband is the same way and I think they feel as if they aren't doing their job, if we don't think we are pretty. Sweet, but simply not true.

You are doing it for you and that's the only way to do it, IMO.

I don't know much about Weight Watchers so I can't help there, but I am here for encouragement. I am not very good about reading other people's journals but I think I might start making more of an effort.

You can do it!

Hiya Amy, yes I would love a diet buddy...we can do it...sounds as though we are in simular boats..we both want to lose weight for ourselves. I need to lose a stone by Easter...so hopefully I can manage that. Do you follow a particular diet? Do you exercise? Im doing Weight Watchers secretly at home..lol. Hope to hear from you soon, Mandie xx

My regimen

I am so embarrassed to say that I used to be a fitness instructor. I stopped doing it about three years ago due to a busy work schedule. I now find myself in the same boat as many of my past clients. My diet consists of six small meals a day loaded with lots of protein and veggies. About six years ago I permanently injured my back and was bedridden for six months while I went through therapy to strengthen it back up. I gained 30lbs and I used this "healthy diet" to lose ALL of it. I know it works, I just have to have patience. I have sausage and egg whites with a piece of wheat toast for breakfast. I have tuna, a salad with vinagarette, and a small cup of fruit for lunch and grilled protein with roasted veggies at night. The snacks in between consist of nuts, raw veggies, and a little peanut butter if I have a sweet craving. This diet with exercise is a no fail weight loss plan. I jog and weight train to burn calories. I'm not familiar with weight watchers so I'm not sure how it works. This diet is great and you are NEVER hungry. I have not cheated a single time since starting this diet. It's that easy. You just have to plan your meals the night before each day. Weight watchers did help my mother lose 30lbs so if it's working for you then stay with it. You can do this. Keep you goal in the front of your mind.
