I need a diet plan =)

Hey guys, I'm new on this forum! =)

I know a lot of you are health experts, but i'm only 16, not sure what weight I am but I know I'm getting a little bit 'chubby', I have never really needed to go on a diet, but I feel I need to do so now because I'm afraid of letting myself go too much.

Anyway!
I should start by increasing my metabolism and excercising, right?

So I was looking to know if anyone can recommend a diet plan for me? I.e what type of foods I should be eating?
I know that in the morning I should probably avoid eating any bread and the like, as it wont keep me full. (Thats what I was told by a friend)

So what type of things should I be having in the morning, for lunch and at dinner? In the morning, a wheat based cereal perhaps? Or something like Rice Crispies? :p

I'm a bit of a newb at the whole metabolism thing so I thought I should come here and ask some of you more experienced guys what type of foods I should be eating!

At 16, if I were you, I would be eating wholesome foods like oatmeal, whole grain breads, tons of vegetables, lean meat such as chicken or flank steak. I'd stay away from processed foods, milk (just my opinion), and fast food. Oh, and I'd drop the rice krispies :)

Depending on your diet right now, just making those changes could be enough to help you lose weight. I would not cut calories since you are still growing, but just shift to wholesome foods.

And you are definitely okay without a gym membership. There are tons of activities you can do outside to increase your metabolism.
