I have to lose weight!

Ahi all. after about two years of not being happy with my weight, i have decided i need to do something about it. right now i lead a very sedentery lifestyle. since starting my current job i have gained about 30 pounds...I'm only 25 and I want to say I spent my life as healthily as possible. I currently weigh about 190 and I'm 5'7", my BMI is 29.9. I feel worse than I ever have. Working nights makes it difficult for me to workout. I come home and just want to crash. I need inspiration! I would love to lose 60 pounds and get down to 130. I want to make a lifestyle change! If you have any tips I am open to them. I have never been very active but I enjoy water sports, rock climbing on occasion, and some yoga/pilates. I need to get fired up!
 
Hey!! Looks like you and I were in similar boats. Situations in life can really affect our weight and just how we feel about ourselves overall. I got up to about 220 and have recently lost 40 pounds, but I still want to get down to about 135. It truly is a lifestyle change. I know you said you haven't been very active. What kind of time do you have to devote to your workouts?
 
Acurrently i work 2 pm-11pm 5days a week. my plan is to start heading to work around noon in order to work out before my shift starts. I think knocking out my workout in the "morning" will help me a lot...it's easier for me to get home at night and tell myself "i'll skip it this once".

It's awesome that you're down 40 lbs already! I'm hoping that i can make the necessary changes myself. I've started this week by watching my portions more carefully and drinking water (i usually drink more juices than anything) and i feel better without all the extra sugar already. what is your workout routine like?
