Hello again all I have just joined for the first time. I am 68 years old an ex smoker and I weigh 15 and a 1/2 stone most of that is my belly.
When I worked I was a chef so I know some things about food.
I have started on my food regime today 20/10/14 I have not looked at any books on diet or calories recently I am just making my regime up as I go along. I want to start off pretty hard so my first day I know I am going be pretty hungry I will ease of a little in the second week and again in the 3rd week. The first three weeks I intend to eat no meat at all except the odd sandwich with chicken breast, I go out once a week on a sunday dinner time I normally drink about 5 pints of bitter, which for these first 3 weeks I will try and cut to 3 pints.
I will be posting in this section off the forum my daily food consumption plus any lapses and any noticeable weight loss I would like all calorie counters to let me know where I am going wrong or with suggestons.
1st days food consumption
9 a.m Bowl of corn flakes with small amount of milk 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 cup of coffee milk no sugar.
1 p.m Small tin of cream of mushroom soup 2 ryvitas with a little butter.
2 p.m 2 rice cakes 1 with a little butter 1 cup of coffee 1 sugar and milk.
3 p.m 1 apple
4.45 p.m 1/2 tin red salmon sprinkle of vinigar 2 ryvitas with little butter.
Thats it for the day I'me going to bed early 8 p.m I normally eat most in the period from 5 p.m to 8 p.m boy am I hungry!
I am posting this about 3 p.m so all I have left is my 4.45 pm meal now it gets hard.
