I have mononucleosis...

I was feeling tired and sick for quite some time and then I was REALLY tired, so I went to the doctor and I have mononucleosis... He said there's nothing really I can do and shouldn't work out for AT LEAST 1 month... I can't believe it will last so long :( . He said that I probably wouldn't even have enough energy to do it! What am I to do?

Take the Doctors' professional advice. And, then put your viewpoints about diet and fitness in proper perspective.

Gauge yourself during these 30 days (in reference to your energy levels), and put your diet at the top of your list of priorities.

If the doctor said not to work out for a month (and has been fully advised of your fitness routine), then follow his/her professional direction. IF you begin to feel better (more energy etc), then go back and see him/her and gauge where you are at. It just may or may not take 30 days to recover. The may point however, is to recover.
