well, i'm 18 years old, 5'2", and i weigh almost 180lbs. i have always been chubby, and i want to slim down and get toned (and while i'm at it, strengthen my cardiovascular system) 
i have plenty of muscle mass. gaining muscle is not my main focus here. but it seems like everything i've tried doesn't work! it's like i have a really slow metabolism, and like my body does not want to lose the fat.
what can i do? no amount of diet or exercise seem to have any significant difference!
i'm open to all suggestions!
