deffinatley! Im not going TO the gym anymore. I am building my garage into on. I have a real good setup in there now. I just like bing at home with the stereo there and my fridge full of water haha. More comfortable to. Nobody around. Im going to start road biking again. I went form my house to the beach in september. It was a 45 mile trip!

Have you tried using an elliptical machine? It's essentially the same as running, except you don't have the high-impact on your joints and bones. It might be worth checking out.

If you can't use that, I'd suggest either swimming or cycling. Congrats on your 45-miler! My first 50 mile ride was an experience to say the least. Sounds like you haven't had much in the way of training recently, though. If you plan to start up again, start slowly with some 5 or 10 mile rides with some good hills thrown in. Once you feel confident with those, move to 15 and 25 milers, etc..

I'd also suggest contacting your physician or physical therapist. I'm sure you had some sort of therapy following your injury - if you call their office or go in and talk to someone, I'm sure they can recommend a treatment or workout routine that will be effective in your weight loss goals. Remember, a good physical therapist designs a workout around the patient and his goals, so if your therapist tells you not to worry about weight loss, see someone else.
