I Feel Great!!

I started my new lifestyle on Monday and I cannot believe how great I feel. I baked cupcakes and cookies this week for the kids and didn't even touch them. The thought of them turned me off. I want this so bad. I am tired of being miserable. I noticed that I had alot more patience with the kids this week and I just feel better eating healthier. I have been eating three meals with a snack in the am and pm and nothing after supper. I am starting my exercise on Monday because I wanted to get my body use to the eating schedule. I weighed 312 on Monday and this morning I was 305!!. I am not even hungry. I have finally hit the rock bottom that I needed to start my new life. I love life.

Congrats!

Congrats on turning the key in your mind and making the change! This is a great forum to wander about, you'll find lots of helpful people here.

Kudos to you,

Barbara

Congratz!

I have always maintained that mind set is more important than eating right and exercise because even if you diet/exercise you risk gaining it back if you are not totally in the right fram of mind.

Keep up the good work, and know there will be bumps along the way but being prepared is best!

I have never been like this mentally before. Before I always wanted that cheat but not now. I know that it will only hurt me.

Way to go!! As long as you keep your mind in the right place, there will be nothing that can stop you!!! I can't wait to hear about all of your progress! :)

I think it is biologically impossible for me to bake anything and NOT have at least one slice/muffin/cookie/etc. I laud your willpower Darla. :)

I'm proud to say that all of the baking is gone and I did not eat any of it. I did have a small chocolate heart on Valentine's Day.

I will second it. It took a different level of determination and discipline to not even have any desire for the cookies that you baked.

Well Done, keep it up, Dar!
