I don't get sore

sore doesn't equal 'good workout'

at most you should feel a little achey the next day. not painful.

What if you feel a bit achey the next day, and the day after that when you're gonna hit the gym? Time to drop some volume?
 
I started working out in July and have steadily increased my weights. Ex: bench press 100lbs X10 now I'm doing 230 10X. Thats machine though, I just used it for eaxmple. I'm trying to go sstricktly free weights but the place I go workout sometimes I can't.
